TFTP Uploading Process
This charter in very important when we need to upload the Cisco IOS file of our router or to upload the firmware of our VOIP phones.
We will use Solarwind and TFTP 32 , but you can use any other application to do that that you want
First connect a crossover cable from your router to a db9 adapter to your computer
1.- Solarwind
Download it and apply to you computer
2.-Router proper configuration
we see it's reachable
Turn off Firewall
:Home and public network
In windows feature check telnet client, telnet server and tftp client
In our case we use several ways to troubleshoot the upgrade of TFTP file.We make sure we use port 69 on the TFTP32..as well on Solarwinds
After you made sure you had a proper connection and you know you can ping from router to switch it's time to mode the desired tftp file ( usually a router IOS or the phone firmware)
As you could see the result was positive!
